Jackson turns 3 today

"My's? It's my's birthday?" (see how he's pointing at himself in disbelief?)

For once I didn't have to bribe him to get a smiling picture - this is the real deal.

Mylar balloons - pretty much the highlight of any toddler's day.

How cute is this monkey birthday shirt that I ordered off of etsy.com?
He's still asking if it's really his birthday....

Shot of the birthday shirt from the back - it has his name and big 3 on it.

Time to go to school. For once no fussing since two dozen cupcakes are coming with him. Jackson and I made yellow cupcakes with chocolate frosting (coincidentally mommy's favorite...), rainbow dot sprinkles, and Mickey Mouse ring toppers for his class.

He's so cute and getting so BIG!!!!! I am jealous that you can make treats for the class. Our treats have to be individually wrapped, nut-free, gluten-free if you want one child to have them, egg free for another child, and the ingredients have to be on there. Ack! Takes all the fun out of treats!

Wow that's nuts (no pun intended!). We are a peanut free zone, but other than that we can bring what we want. In fact, Jackson just came home with a giant box of valentine candy. Gee, thanks school!
